This coffee has a such velvety beginning, not sharp like some. It invites one to linger over that mildly dark chocolate body and its cola-like top note. I am always amazed at how accurately the flavors I get match the packaging notes. I appreciate the time which has gone into developing your flavor vocabulary. But are my perceptions being driven by the words I read? That's always a question, but I have never minded. This one is a favorite.
Yummy chocolate, smooth and balanced.
Fruity, full bodied, juicy
This is flavorful but delicate - my favorite combination. I do get the hints of brown sugar, tamarind, and even yellow peach - it's really delightful!
Tartness, blackberry, a bit of spice. Wonderful coffee - opened the bag, and the aroma was wonderful. Nicely tart but balanced, especially for a Colombian coffee. Terrific.
Has a great flavor with a bold, but not overpowering, natural coffee. There's a bit of funkiness for a wash, but in a good way.
I've ordered the coffee twice and both times the flavor profile was intense. The first bag had a sweet aftertaste that I assume was the cake like finish described above. The second bag of beans had a bit less sugar taste and more Cacao.
A distinctive coffee to be looked forward to and savored. Each sip 'rings' across the palate like a soft brass bell. Then comes a chocolate undertone and a subtle tartness that I want to describe as cherry, but darker. Very enjoyable.
A naturally sweet coffee. Smells so good after grinding. Tastes amazing. It is a lighter coffee than I usually drink in the morning. Will use when making a sweet coffee treat like an affogato.
Hard to compare all the good coffees but this Gikanda taste delicious. I taste a bit of sweetness, sometimes tart. All around a fantastic coffee.
We tasted the fresh raspberry
Not sure why but I taste more tea like flavors. Hard not to like a Suke Quto coffee.
A good change of pace with a nice mellow taste of toffee. Tried a finer grind on day 3 and for some reason the coffee tasted a bit more tasty.
Wow, what a coffee! Perfectly smooth and rich. A favorite!
Citrus, tea - and umami that I can’t identify.
Today, I really did taste the lemon, and I have to say that it was a bit distracting.
While Moustache always provides excellent coffee, occasionally they hit it out of the ballpark. A good example is this Kenyan coffee: it has a deep, dark chocolate body finishing with an almost perfect tang, just the right amount of fruit. Light-roast fans looking for coffee's subtleties will find a lot to praise here. Delicious!
Surprisingly full but subtle flavor on this one. A good deal of fruit with the washed process. But still lingering floral notes and wonderful balance throughout.
Blueberry, herbs, lime
This was an unexpectedly good coffee on espresso. I had some dial-in challenges, but had a dose of 18.3g in, 46g out in 48s and was blown away how smooth and delicious it was. Normally, I go for shorter duration shots (using a "citrus slice" billet basket from sworks design). Definitely lots of body, sweet and delicious.
I loved everything about this coffee. The best part of this coffee is sticking my nose in the bag and smelling the beans. Very smooth complex flavor with fruit notes. Thank You!
This was really different! The cherry was good and strong, as was the chocolate…I assume that the slightly bright taste is the citrus that you get? I never got that lemon part.
This is so tasty. In addition to the brightness and the juicy and floral notes all mentioned above, there is a lovely stonefruit acidity that perfectly cleans the palate after each sip. Delicious, easy to drink, and full flavored.
Taste the winey and some fruit, not full bodied
Of the coffee. She has better taste buds and said one of the best coffees in recent times. Gram cracker, cinnamon, pecan.
I really enjoyed the floral notes - brightened up my morning!
Fruity sweetness. One of our favorites so far this year.
I love this coffee for anytime of the day. It's like a warm hug. Delicious and well balanced, very flavorful!
I love this coffee, especially as my "after lunch" brew. It has a distinct and almost specific taste but sits (lightly) right in the middle of nougat and dark chocolate.
I enjoyed this coffee. It was nice and smooth with a clean taste. Thank You.
Drinks like a robust black tea, but with all the best coffee flavors. Fruity and bright without being too acidic. Hint of cocoa. The beans smelled deliciously of what I can only describe as butterfinger.
This is a nice, light flavor. Really enjoyed it!
In wine terms: fruity with a long finish!
Cocoa, a sweetness, tropical taste was great
Chocolate and blueberry were the taste profiles for me.. It was so aromatic and smooth!
My husband said it worked well for making cappuccinos, and the flavor was very smooth and pleasant--not bitter at all. Highly drinkable!
Has an earthy and citrus note, well. balanced. Aroma is delightful.
Just a great coffee.
Lime, has a great finish and a very pleasant taste, definitely an all day coffee!
As a long-time fan of Yirgacheffe coffee, this is perhaps the best Ethiopian coffee that I have ever tasted, so subtle, lemony, and floral. Outstanding! If a Reko smallholders lot comes around again, buy it!
Chocolate, creamy, nice acidity.
Chocolate, molasses, caramel.
smelled kind of lemony, taste was bright and fruity, I really enjoyed it
