I'm super excited to introduce this new coffee from Uganda.
While we love all coffee growing regions of the globe, we are always on the look out for new and interesting regions and farms to source coffee from.
Uganda is a country that has become more prominent and is featuring on our radar more and more. Zinule is from Eastern Uganda, very close to the border with Kenya. Farming practices are similar to Kenya as you can see from the use of the SL varieties.
With the use of the Kenyan coffee varietals and the close proximity to Kenya expectations for this coffee were very high, and we have not been disappointed. This coffee is super clean and elegant with pleasant fruit. We are getting flavors of stone fruit like nectarine and peach, apples, rooibos, and some whiskey bitters.
This is a tasty coffee and we are delighted to bring it to you!

I really love Kenyans and this Ugandan Coffee reminds me of them in the best ways: very clean, smooth flavor. The stonefruit notes mentioned above are there, but they are not overpowering. The same with the bitters. This is just a tasty, well-balanced coffee. I really hope we get more from Uganda in the future. Thanks MCC for bringing this one!

This is also another one of my favorites! The whiskey bitters + slight dark chocolate (aka rooibos/nectarine) aroma and taste are wonderful.
