Description:
Origin & History: Gesha Oasis comes from a family-owned farm in the heart of Colombia’s Tolima region, run by Raúl, a fourth-generation coffee grower. Raúl inherited the farm in 2006 and, with his wife Astrid, took full ownership in 2008. The farm, originally started by Raúl’s father in 1970, now thrives with 60,000 coffee trees, featuring varieties such as Caturra, Colombia, Castillo, Borbón Rosado, Gesha, and Papayo. This legacy is maintained by Raúl, his wife, children, and extended family, all working together on the land.
Process: Gesha Oasis is a testament to meticulous processing. The cherries are depulped and fermented anaerobically in GrainPro bags for 36 hours, allowing the beans to develop deeper flavors in an oxygen-free environment. After fermentation, the beans are washed thoroughly to remove any remaining mucilage.
For drying, the beans are sun-dried on raised canopies for 20 days, ensuring a slow, even process that locks in vibrant flavors. The coffee is then stabilized for 30 days in GrainPro bags, which allows the flavors to mature and achieve a harmonious balance.
Flavor Profile: Gesha Oasis offers an extraordinary cup with floral notes, hints of blueberry, and a lively acidity reminiscent of citric fruits like grape, tangerine, and orange. Subtle layers of mango and honey round out the profile, making it a complex and delightful coffee experience.
This coffee is a true reflection of the care, tradition, and innovation behind every step of its cultivation and processing.

There was this spicy forward notes on the nose and followed by floral notes. It tastes distinctively geisha. The unique geisha juicy taste lingers on. I can drink this all day and all night. It has been a long while waiting for a geisha and this does not disappoint.
