This was my first experience with an anaerobic coffee, but I enjoy fruity coffees so I thought I’d give it a try. After the first sip, I wasn’t sure this was for me as I mostly got the funkiness. After that I could really taste a lot more of the fruit. It’s a bright, acidic fruit without the coffee seeming acidic. Very pleasant, and I’d love to be able to drink this a lot more often. The funk adds an interesting dimension: not as funky as many Belgian beers, but definitely there.
