This week we have a tasty coffee from Huehuetenango Guatemala. The producer, Itiel Vásquez spent 12 years working in the USA to save enough money to purchase this farm on his return to Guatemala. His dedication and endeavor comes across in the coffee. Meticulously grown, picked and processed this coffee is a real treat. We are getting dark chocolate on the front and then deeper fruits followed by savory tobacco flavors. Enjoy!

Coffee flavor is rich, with dark chocolate, tannins and a nice bite. I prefer coffees with a nice tartness, which is a bit more difficult to detect here. But the rich, deep flavor and slight astrin...

Coffee flavor is rich, with dark chocolate, tannins and a nice bite. I prefer coffees with a nice tartness, which is a bit more difficult to detect here. But the rich, deep flavor and slight astringency still nicely comes through.

A good cup of coffee!
