Cenfrocafe
Variety: Typica, Caturra, Bourbon
Processing: Washed
Crop Year: 2016
Origin: Cajamarca, Peru
Producers: Cajamarca Small Holders
Altitude: 1200-2200m
This tart and tasty coffee comes from Peru, which might not be a place you often see when it comes to specialty coffee. Peru has some great coffee-growing conditions in the high altitudes, but often farmers only hold a few acres of land and lack the distribution framework to produce coffee at scale. Cenfrocafe, a coffee cooperative out of Cajamarca, solves this problem by bringing together the region's best small-holders to process and ship their beans. This means you're getting a sampling of the top Caturra, Bourbon, and Typica varietals that Peru has to offer, and it sure does deliver. Sharp fruity flavors with an up-front acidity, this coffee is the perfect pick-me-up!

I really like this - I prefer light/medium roast and after adjusting a few settings on my bean to cup (it's no percolator, I know...), it made a perfect "working" cup of coffee that was strong but not overly intense. Definitely the best bag I've had from you guys apart from the first columbian I got and the Rwandan.. Cheers!

I enjoyed this one. Nothing super wow, but very solid cup of enjoyable coffee.

I'm not a huge citrus fan when it comes to coffee. I like a nuttier and deeper flavor. For it being citrusy, I did like it- but I do look forward to trying some of your other blends.

strictly a morning shot. roast is too light and flavour only hits the tip of the tongue. I'm more interested in a full bodied darker roast.

I really liked this coffee. I usually like bolder roasts but this had a lot of flavor. It was not too fruity or tart.

Was worried about the sweetness but it was a non issue. A solid quality cup of coffee, updated my plan to something more frequent after this one.

Almost unremarkable... but in a good way. The coffee is not very distinctive, but it is simply very good.

I love sweet/fruity coffee, so this was great. Glad there was an 'encore' so I could get a chance to try it.
