It's no secret that we like Guji coffees, but lots like Burtukaana make us want to proclaim our love all over again. Ethiopian Heirloom beans are a delightful mix of Typica hybrids that are often found growing wild in the hills and are transferred to farmers' plots for cultivation. This means that coffees coming out of Ethiopia have a variety and complexity of flavors that we don't see in other growing regions. Burtukaana comes from several small-holders in the region that worked together to process and market their coffee.
Flavor-wise, Burtukaana is a refreshing mix of sweet flavors. A bright strawberry note and a robust cherry flavor permeate this coffee's smooth and creamy body. With sweetness and a clean finish, this is definitely a cup that will make you slow down and savor your coffee. We love it, and we hope you do too.

Rich flavor in a light body
This is our favorite bean and roast so far from Moustache Coffee Club. The rich black cherry flavor comes right at you, smoothly, from the grind to the drip to the first sip. This pot of coffee poured out into our cups very quickly as we couldn't get enough.
