Whenever you see a coffee from the Narino department of Colombia, the odds are that it's going to be a good cup. We test a lot of them, and it usually holds true. Every once in a while however, we stumble upon a truly archetypal Narino coffee. One that embodies everything that Narino coffee is known for: bright acidity, abundant fruit flavors, sugary sweetness. Amador is one such coffee. These washed Caturra and Colombia beans produce an amazingly well-defined watermelon note, accompanied by a fittingly juicy body. A few more tropical fruit flavors arise throughout the brewing process, giving the cup a brightness and sweetness that exceeds our already high expectations for Narino coffee. It's sweet and sharp in equal measure, creating a taste profile of unmistakable quality and substance that you'll remember.

Probably used to a richer/deeper coffee. This was too light/fruity/acid for me.

Deliciously sweet coffee and especially good as espresso. Too bad I only pulled one shot :(

This coffee is very light. I am used to a much deeper and richer brew. Little floral with a lot of acidity at the back end.

Nice cup of coffee, but I am like the others I think I want something more rich and deeper. Not a big fan of the acidity hit at the end but the more I drink it, it grows on me.

Usually I prefer a chocolatey taste but the fruitiness was a nice surprise.

We run all our beans through an espresso maker; and grind them immediately before brewing. This was great. I loved the flavor as-is. My wife, who prefers a darker roast, mixed in ~25% darker espresso beans, which was also a great flavor, albeit completely distinct. Well done gentleman.

My first shipment. Amazing coffee. Very different and good. I would say one or two cups is perfect. I can easily drink 1/2-3/4 pot myself on a weekend morning which may be a bit to take in those quantities in one sitting. Cant wait to see whats next.
