This aromatic and vibrant coffee comes to you from the beautiful Las Nubes farm in Santa Ana, El Salvador. Purchased by Isidro Batlle in the 1920's and kept in the family since then, this farm has focused on growing quality bourbon coffees, which is reflected in this week's offering. A honey-processed bourbon, these beans are separated from their cherries during harvest, but unlike washed coffees, some of the sweet, sticky mucilage from the pulp is left on the bean. This affects how long it takes the beans to dry, and adds complexity and sweetness. The result is an exceptionally refreshing coffee bursting with strong flavor notes that reward multiple brew sessions. We can't get enough of this crisp coffee, and we think that after having a cup, you'll understand why.
