Buenavista is an aptly-named farm perched high on the hillsides of Huila, Colombia. Alcides Avendano has been producing quality coffee for quite some time - this lot of 100% Caturra coffee is just the latest of many successful crops he has sold through Coocentral and Nordic Approach's programs in Huila. Like many farmers in the region, Alcides produces washed coffees with a dry fermentation step using a micro-beneficio on his property. The parchment is then dried on raised beds at Finca Buenavista for 20-25 days until it is ready to be delivered to Coocentral's central dry mill.
Flavor-wise, this coffee is rich and complex with juicy plum notes and raspberry brightness. Buenavista is a coffee with a more substantial mouthfeel than others - an almost syrupy quality also nods to the profile's overall sweetness. This is a coffee you can get lost in, and we hope you take the time to really savor it!

A rich, full-bodied delight! Loved the flavor and "syrupiness"

This is a lovely coffee that shifts aromas appealing as it cools.

A very nice Colombian coffee, rich, full-bodied, with clear plum-like notes. In a word, it's delicious, but that's nothing new for Moustache coffees.
